British Council

British Council Ghana administers both paper based and computer based exams on behalf of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The paper based exams are sat three times in a year, whilst the computer based exams can be sat on demand upon registration with us.

Computer based exams are available for the first seven foundation level exams of the ACCA qualification only. They are not available for the specialist and knowledge papers.

How to Register

All registration processes are carried out directly by ACCA for the paper based exams. For the computer based exams, registration is done with the British Council Ghana.

For computer based exams simply fill in the registration form found at the bottom of this page and send it to us via email or by hand with the proof of payment.

Please remember to indicate the date you wish to sit the exams. You are given a month from the date of payment to sit for your exams.

How to Pay

For the COMPUTER BASED EXAMS:

Please pay to the following account number at any Standard Chartered bank in Ghana, complete the British Council Virtual Account Deposit Slip, select

9910505…. write the Corresponding exams code below + Four Zeroes (0000) in the in the spaces against it. Example if you are paying for CBE foundation the full code is 9910505010000

For the PAPER BASED EXAMS:

All payments must be made by Bank Deposit to British Council at any Standard Chartered Bank to the 

VA account numbers below:

ACCA Paper based - write six zeroes(000000) against 9910506 on the Virtual Account deposit slip
