Study UK Partnership Forum 2018
20 July 2018
9.00am - 4.00pm
The Study UK Higher Education Partnership Forum is an initiative by the British Council to foster and promote partnerships and collaborations between Ghanaian and UK Universities. Partnerships make significant contributions to institutional internationalisation objectives. At an institutional level, partnerships provide opportunities for sharing knowledge and experience, academic development and benchmarking.
Institutions are successfully using collaborative models to increase both inbound and outbound student mobility, staff mobility and international research capacity.
This forum seeks to directly support mutually beneficial links between Ghana and the UK and so will seek to bring together policy makers, government stakeholders, and Ghanaian and UK universities to discuss potential collaboration and partnership needs.
The Forum will include workshops with a focus on successful UK-Ghana Partnerships and will have in attendance the Ministry of Education, National Accreditation Board, National Council for Tertiary Education, and UK universities among other key stakeholders. There will be a speed networking session following the forum which will give an opportunity to institutions to explore partnership possibilities.
