Much has been discussed about impact investing and the role of social enterprises as a solution to unemployment in Ghana. However, recent attention has more narrowly focused on the role of social enterprises in work integration for vulnerable groups, such as unemployed youth in low-income communities, and its positive impact on both poverty reduction and stability.
Join us at the British Council in Accra as we examine the factors that can influence employment creation in social entrepreneurship; promoting increased economic activity while contributing to a virtuous cycle of poverty reduction and improved stability, with mutually reinforcing outcomes.
